The trainer, who has worked with Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Nicole Richie to name just a few, told DuJour magazine that "A lot of women use their pregnancy as an excuse to let their bodies go, and that's the worst thing." Hollywood already puts immense pressure on women to be a certain size and now pregnant/post-pregnant woman are no longer safe from the body shaming (See Jessica Simpson). Calling out pregnant women for how much weight they've gained is ridiculous, as is referring to their post-pregnancy bodies as "disasters," and referring to their weight gain as "the worst thing." Not everyone gets paid to hit the gym, there's this thing called "life" that 99.9% of the world's population has to deal with.
