Ditching her signature dark 'do, the E! reality star stopped into Andy Lecompte Salon in West Hollywood on Aug. 24. "I softened her natural black hair color…with little warmth, then used highlights…around her face and ends of hair," said stylist to the stars Papanikolas. "The result is a low maintenance graduation of color." What does the pro think of Kardashian's brighter tresses? "The tone on tone hue is the most sophisticated choice for brunettes," explains the Joico hairdresser, who boosted the star's mane with some shine using a Joico gloss. And Kardashian seems thrilled with her new fashion-forward hair hue.
